Penti I

Many Years ago I owned a Penti II, but didn´t use it. So I sold it. Now I found a Penti I one on a flea market and got a brick of Orwo NP 20 film in SL cassettes. On the first walk with the Penti the shutter got stuck and something rattled inside the body. Ever tried to open a Penti for repair? Forget it!

Agfa Optima 1035

The Nr. 2 in the line of four electronic Optimas. Lens 2,8/40mm, programmed AE, distance symbols in the wonderful bright finder and a self timer.

Rollei 34 (IV) Rollei 35S

My third Rollei 35, the model 35S with the Sonnar 2,8/40mm; attached is a Watameter rangefinder that is not a joy to use, but useful when shooting the Sonnar wide open.

The lost Cameras (VIII, Minox 35 PL)

Since the beginning of my relationship with photographic gear in 1979 I lost lots of equipment.
Some cameras died, some were sold, some I gave away as gifts. Luckily the photos survived.

The Minox 35 PL has all the advantages and disadvantages of the Minox 35 series, but features a program AE; that means, you have no clue what aperture the camera choose and if you can use a certain DOF. The camera I owned had a extremely sensible shutter. Everytime the camera touched something a little bit harder it needed a service. So I sold it.

Rollei 35 (II) Color

Before shooting only Polypan F in my Rollei 35, I used it with color film. Here are some photos from 2008, 2009 and 2010. All films were developed at home in the Tetenal C-41 kit.
